As a practicing foot surgeon for 35 years, I was always disappointed with OTC insoles and orthotics. Either, they were designed for support (but were too hard and many times uncomfortable) or they were designed for cushion but offered no support.

I set out several years ago to try and combine both support and cushioning into a functional insole. I worked with one of the largest supplier of insoles in the world to come up with my first product, The DRx Performance Insole. I used a special Polyurethane material at a durometer (hardness) that achieved my goal. It offered both the support and shock absorption that is needed to provide significant comfort.

The DRx Performance Insole is designed to be worn in any shoe that has a removable insole. Shoes such as running, golf, work boots, boat shoes, service industry shoes, steel toed shoes and many more.

They help with treating many disorders including Plantar Fasciitis, Neuromas, Ankle pain, Leg fatigue, Knee pain and Lower back pain.

For people who are on their feet, you could best describe them as fatigue mats for their shoes.

After a couple years I put my sights on developing an insole for dress shoes. Regular insoles will not fit in dress shoes. I then came up with The Cobra Comfort Insolethat offers a minimalist design that fits into both women’s and men’s shoes.  The insole takes up little room in the shoe but offers significant support.

These are designed for High Heels, flats, ballet flats and men’s dress shoes that have no support. They also work to improve the support in cowboy boots.

Youth Drx Performance Insoles are designed for children’s shoes. These insoles are great for heel pain and general comfort especially in soccer shoes and any hard sole shoe.

All DRx insoles last 3 times longer than the standard insoles in shoes and also help wick away moisture from the feet. They reduce friction which is the main cause of blisters. They are washable.
